We are exhibiting at the BIOFACH fair again this year.
15th ALTERMED FAIR FROM 15.3. TO 17.3.2019
In Nuremberg, at the Biofach fair, we presented a new innovative product ORGANIC COUSCOUS FROM GOLDEN TARTARY BUCKWHEAT gluten-free and ORGANIC BUCKWHEAT GROATS – SPLIT gluten free. At our stand we also presented other gluten-free products and pasta from organic buckwheat.
Our mill was visited by team of House Franko and Ana Rosh, on 29th October 2018. They viewed old mill museum, a fish farm and gluten-free production. For this occasion Peter Kotar prepared dishes made of common and tartary buckwheat.
At the 3rd Life Period Festival (F3ŽO) , which is visited by more than 17,000 visitors each year, we presented products from our mill and new innovative pillows filled with Golden Tartary buckwheat husks. The advantages of Golden Tartary buckwheat husks are that they are smaller, thicker and all sides of are firmly held together. Therefore, the pillow filled with husks from the Golden Tartary buckwheat maintains its shape for a longer period of time. It endures moisture and heat better than a pillow filled with common buckwheat husks, which are fragile and easily crushed. Golden Tartary buckwheat husks contain up to 50 times more natural antioxidants and flavonoid substances than common buckwheat husks. Moreover, they act antiviral and antibacterial.
We participated in the 56th AGRA International Fair of Agriculture and Food, in cooperation with Secondary School for Food and Nutrition (EC Piramida Maribor). In the AGRA kitchen, students of the Secondary School for Food and Nutrition prepared dishes with one of the most innovative foods of 2018 – golden tartar buckwheat groats.
We presented activities of Rangus mill and advantages of GOLDEN TARTARY BUCKWHEAT at 2. European Symposium of Buckwheat in Tarvisio, Italy, April 21st and 22nd, 2018.
Especially we presented the product GOLDEN TARTARY BUCKWHEAT GROATS by mill Rangus®, for which we got an award for the best innovative food 2018 in the gluten free food group,
by Nutrition Institute, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food.
At the conference it was expressed great interest for our products by Italian sportsmen, especially skiers.

We attended Biofach fair in Nuremberg, from 14 until February 17, 2018, where products of our mill was exhibited. We also presented a novelty in a special hall on the Novelties stand.
Innovation award in a gluten free food group: Golden Tartary buckwheat groats (Rangus d.o.o.)
Golden Tartary buckwheat has a pleasant aromatic and characteristic slightly bitter taste. It is a nutritious food that is also distinguished by high concentration of flavonoids. The grain of Tartary buckwheat has been harvested, produced and processed in Slovenia. Due to thick and hard husks and fine grains, the production of Tartary buckwheat groats is technologically demanding, and the producer, with appropriate technology and control, ensures that gluten is not contaminated the product during production. Food is therefore also suitable for individuals with celiac disease. Tartary buckwheat groats can be used as an addition or a separate dish and also we can prepare very tasty tea from it.

At the University Clinical Center Ljubljana, we attended the seminar “Hypersensitivity and Allergies to Food II” and introduced our gluten-free products.
In September 2016, the 13th International Symposium of buckwheat was held in South Korea, there we presented the activities and innovations of Rangus mill (gluten-free products).
We participated and exhibited our products on 13th Slovenian symposium on bakery, milling and confectionery “Milling and baking”, on May 11, 2016 in Portorož, Slovenia.
Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, mag. Dejan Židan, visited our mill in April, 2016.
We attended Biofach fair in Nuremberg, Germany.
We attended the European Regional IBRA Meeting 2015 ( Buckwheat in Europe: History, Culture, Gastronomy and Nutrition ), 10th-12th December in Luxembourg.
