ORGANIC buckwheat groats – split 500g

Description

Split buckwheat groats- halves are an innovative, gluten free product, they contain excellent proteins with well balanced amino-acid constitution, high quality of slowly digestible starch, minerals, antioxidants and dietary fiber. Product is based on ecological buckwheat, grown in the hilly region of Dolenjska, Slovenia, countryside rich in forests and clean water streams. Buckwheat grains are split along the cotyledons, enabling smooth surface of groats, with nice taste in the mouth, remaining pasta products of the highest quality.This innovative product was developed in the cooperation with University of Ljubljana, and Nutrition Institute, Ljubljana, Slovenia, by co-financing of Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, Republic of Slovenia, and financially supported by the Slovenian Research Agency (grants L4-7552, L4-9305). Split buckwheat halves are a nice product, suitable to replace rice in dishes for people suffering from diabetes.
